1973 Porsche 2.4 911T rebuilt to 1973 2.7 911 RS specs

 

 A beautiful 911 built that was constructed from a rolling hulk during the winter of 2005-6 at Riter Restorations in East Rochester, NY. 

The build was to SCCA (HRG) and HSR Classic GT class rules.

The engine was built and is maintained by Eksten Autoworks in Rochester, NY

 

Competition History

 

Multiple winner in HRG Group 4 and with Historic Sportscar Racing (HSR)

The race wins that we are most proud of are winning the GT-4 class five years in a row 2006-10 at the HSR, Sebring 4 Hour enduro. Often we were the first production based car to finish and the first real vintage car to finish. 4 Hours of Sebring races were variously co-driven by Rock Rookey,of HRG and Mark Eksten. Also, we finished as high as 8th overall of a normal field of 45+ cars.
